Safe and effective technology

Dynamic Pulse Control was developed to enable an additional dimension in controlling safety and efficient photoepilation (hair reduction) on skin types I to V. In addition to pulse duration control in Sharplight’s technologies, DPC enables pulse configuration control.  For each fluence and pulse duration setting, light energy may be released in one of three DPC settings: Smooth Pulse, Long Pulse and High Pulse. Dynamic Pulse Control is enabled through the use of state-of-the-art pulse forming network (PFN) electronics designed specifically for the Sharplight systems.


Permanent hair reduction

 Using SharpLight’s advanced and safe med-aesthetic systems to offer excellent, lasting hair removal results with minimum discomfort in a relatively small number of treatment sessions. More specifically, SharpLight’s advanced technologies, based on pulsed light and photoepilation, enable personalized, precise treatments that achieve effective, permanent results.  Using these technologies, the hair reduction is achieved when the energy is trans-formed to heat in the active growth follicles, coagulating the follicle and limiting re-growth. The technologies’ high heat power delivers noticeable results in less time – and these results are targeted so as to protect the surrounding skin.

Prevent Ingrowns

Laser Hair Removal works by directing concentrated light to target the hair follicle at the root. The laser inhibits the hair’s ability to grow without disrupting or damaging the skin’s surface, so even the most sensitive skin can be treated.


Laser/IPL is safe for most men but is not suitable for all men. Men who are on blood thinners, for example.

Other factors that make people unsuitable for Laser/IPL treatment include:

-currently or recently taking the acne drug Accutane

-recent chemical peel or skin resurfacing

-having severe active acne

-autoimmune disorders

-bleeding disorders

-taking blood thinners

-taking photosensitive medication

-suffering from a skin resurfacing disorder

-being susceptible to keloid scarring

-having suffered severe sunburn recently

-lesions or open wounds

-active herpes or cold sore




-recent surgery
